How we assess
A scanner can find patterns. People still need to test the experience.
Automated tools are valuable, especially when they run repeatedly during development. They cannot determine whether language is clear, focus order makes sense, alternative text is useful, or a task is understandable with assistive technology. Tanglao combines automation with structured human review.
Keyboard and focus
Operation, order, visibility, skip paths, menus, dialogs, and interactive controls.
Responsive access
Zoom, narrow reflow, orientation, text spacing, and content that remains usable without two-dimensional scrolling where applicable.
Perception and motion
Contrast, state communication, alternative text, media needs, and reduced-motion behavior.
Assistive technology
Screen-reader testing appropriate to the project’s essential journeys and supported environments.
Evidence and retesting
Recorded findings, prioritized remediation, limitations, exceptions, and verification after correction.
After launch
Accessibility is also a publishing and governance responsibility.
New pages, PDFs, media, forms, plugins, and third-party services can introduce barriers after a tested launch. We provide practical staff guidance for:
- Heading structure and descriptive links
- Alternative text and image decisions
- Tables, forms, and error messages
- Captions, transcripts, and media
- Accessible document preparation and publishing
- Periodic review and issue response
